中南民族大学美术学院教授，历任美术系副主任、文学院副院长兼美术系主任、美术学院副院长。1948年生于四川泸州，先后毕业于湖北艺术学院（现湖北美术学院）师范系油画专业和中央美术学院油画系第六届研修班。作品多次在《美术》、《中国油画》、《文艺研究》、《艺术市场》、中国台湾《艺术家》、《典藏》等艺术杂志发表并被国内外艺术机构、个人收藏。现居北京，从事民族油画肖像画艺术课题的研究。
　　Fine Arts professor of South-Central University for Nationalities，successively held the posts of deputy director of the Fine Arts department, deputy dean of Faculty of Arts with the concurrent post of director of the Fine Arts department, and the deputy dean of Fine Arts college. He was born in Lu Zhou city of Si Chuan Province in 1948,who orderly graduated from the Oil painting of the Education department of Hubei Art Institute (Now is the Fine Arts Institute) and the Sixth postgraduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works were often published in many artistic magazines such as The Fine Arts，Chinese oil paintings，Literature and Art Research, Art Market, The Artists and The Collections which also collected by plenty of domestic and overseas artistic organizations and individuals.Now,he is living in Beijing and working on the national portraits research.
