蒋昌一，1943年生于上海，祖籍湖南湘乡。原上海油画雕塑院院长。国家一级美术师、中国美协会员、上海美协常务理事、上海美协绘画艺术委员会主任。1993年移居美国，职业画家。1992-2000年期间，《遐想》、《知音》、《秋》等作品先后在上海、香港、台湾及新加坡、美国等地展出并连年参加香港佳士得公司（CHRISTIE’S）中国当代油画作品拍卖会。作品被香港、台湾及新加坡、日本、马来西亚、美国等收藏家们收藏。



　　Born in Shanghai. First Class National Artist， director of Shanghai Art-Designing Corporation and the principal of Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Institute. Skilled at picture poster， watercolor painting and oil painting. Jiang graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Fine Arts Institute in 1966. Representative works include： the picture posters Solidarity and National Flag is as Red as the Sun， the water-color painting Growing up during Revolution and Flower and oil paintings Ballet Dancer etc.
