郭常信，油画家、水彩画家、版画家、国家一级美术师。祖籍辽宁省盖县，1941年出生，辽宁画院专业画家。中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员。1965年毕业于鲁迅美术学院。分配到辽宁美术出版社，1972年供职于辽宁省美术创作组，1982年供职于辽宁画院至今。 　　长期从事美术创作，许多作品发表、出版、收入多种画集和参加国内外大展，部分作品获奖，并为中国美术馆、天津博物馆、辽宁博物馆、辽宁美术馆、俄罗斯(布)市博物馆和加拿大多伦多中国美术馆等单位或国内外收藏家收藏。1994年随辽宁省文化代表团访问韩国并举办联展；1995年5月在辽宁美术馆举办大型个人画展；1998年4月到新加坡参加辽宁画院画展；自1999年在沈阳、大连等地多次举办个人画展。2000年赴俄罗斯举办联展、同年，赴加拿大举办两次个人画展。2006年5月赴香港举办《乡情一郭常信油画展》。 2008年3月在新加坡举办《乡情一郭常信油画展》。2008年4月在香港艺术中心举办《我们的家园》联展；2009年1月在法国巴黎国际艺术城举办《乡情一郭常信油画展》。 　　2006年人民美术出版社出版《郭常信油画集》。同年，中国美协出版《美术家郭常信》宣册；2008新加坡宣和文物出版《乡情一郭常信油画作品集》；同年，香港中国文艺出版社出版《我们的家园一郭常信油画作品集》 傅略载《中国文艺家传集》、《中国富代文艺辞典》、《世界名人录》等十几种辞画。

　　Guo changxin,Oil-painter,water-color painter,engraving painter,is a frist grate well know national artist.
　　Guo changxin,native of Gaixain County,Liaoning Province,was born in 1941After his graduation from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1965. Guo changxin was assigned to work in Liaoning Art Publishing House.In 1972,he worked in Liaoning Fine Arts Creation Group.Guo changxin has been working in Liaoning Art Academy since 1982.He is a specialized painter of Liaoning Art Academy,and member of the Chinese Artists’ Association and Chinese Eng raving Artist Association.
　　Guo Changxin has been engaging in art creation for Long time. Most of Guo Changxin’s work have been published in many publications and Guo Changxin’s works have been shown in many art exhibitions,nationally and internationally.Guo Changxin has been the recipient of numerous awards.The art works of Guo Changxin are found in many private and public collections including China Art Gallery,Tianjin Art Museum,LiaoningMusem,Liaoning Art Gallery,Russian B City Musem and China Art Gallery in Toronto.
　　In1994,GuoChangxin went with Liaoning Literrary Art Delegation to the Republic of Korea where Guo Changxin participated in the art exhibition.In May 1995 Guo Changxin held his own art exhibition in Liaoning Art Gallery.In Apr 1998,he went to Singapore to attend the exhibition of Liaoning Art Academy.Beijing from 1999,Guo Changxin has held his individual art exhiblition in Shenyang City and Dalian City for many times.In year 2000,Guo changxin went to Russia to participate the associated art exhibition.In the same year,he went to Canada to hold his individual exhibition for two times.In may2006,Guo ChangxinWent to HongKong to hold the “provincialism-Guo Changxin’s Painting Exhibition“.Most of Guo Changxin’s paintings are about country life,revealing local cultural and social conditions in Northern China.He has managed to depict the true interests of the peasants and their simple life in the country.From January 13 to 18,2009,he held the”Country Side Affection-Guo Changxin Oil Painting Exhibition”at Lacite International Des Art in Paris.In 2011,June and August,”Passion To The Homeland”and “Love of Native land“-GuoChangxinOil paintings Exhibition were held in flushing and Mahattan,New Yourk.
